Cookie policy

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help websites work properly, remember settings, improve security and understand how people use the site.

Some cookies are only used while you browse the site. Others stay on your device for longer so they can remember your preferences when you return.

How we use cookies

Football Examination Board uses cookies and similar technologies to help the website function, support account areas, process checkout activity, remember user choices, improve performance and help protect the site from spam or misuse.

We may also use cookies to understand how visitors use the website so we can improve the way it works.

Types of cookies we use

Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are needed for the website to work properly. They may be used for page navigation, security, form handling, login sessions, shopping basket activity, checkout processes and saving your cookie preferences.

Without these cookies, key parts of the site may not function correctly.

Performance and analytics cookies

These cookies help us understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are visited most often, how people move through the website and whether any pages are not working properly.

This information helps us improve performance and user experience.

Functionality cookies

These cookies help the website remember choices you make, such as saved preferences, so your experience is more consistent when you return.

Security and anti-spam cookies

These cookies may be used to help protect the site, forms and account areas from spam, abuse or malicious activity.

Cookies and tools we may use on this site

Based on the current website setup, cookies may be set by the website itself or by third-party tools used to run the service.

The exact cookies used can change from time to time as the site is updated, plugins are changed or third-party services update their own systems.

Third-party cookies

Some cookies may be placed by third-party services that appear on or support the website. These may include payment services, anti-spam tools, video embeds or analytics services.

We do not control third-party cookies directly. If you want more detail on how those providers use your data, you should also read their own privacy and cookie policies.

How to manage cookies

You can manage your cookie choices through the cookie banner or cookie settings tool on the website, where available.

You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies, though doing so may affect how the website works.

• You can accept or reject non-essential cookies through the cookie banner.
• You can update your preferences later if the cookie settings tool is available on the site.
• You can delete cookies that are already stored in your browser.
